Educator & Theatre Artist
Helping young people find their voices through the
art of drama interwoven with social-emotional learning.
I grew up on Staten Island, just a short ferry ride away from the theatre capital of the nation. Through my participation in dance and drama programs during my childhood and young adulthood, I was able to experience first-hand the benefits of an arts education. My ultimate goal in teaching is to cultivate a safe space for all of my students to explore their identities and creative passions.
A proud alumnus of Emerson College, I received my BFA in Theatre Education and Performance in December of 2019. Previously, I worked as a teaching artist at the Nantucket Dreamland Stage Company, as the Education Director of a Theatre for Young Audiences group called Kidding Around, and as a theatre instructor with Actor Children's Theatre at Wagner College. Currently, I am working for the New York City Department of Education as a theatre teacher for grades K-5 at a Brooklyn elementary school where I have created my own standards-based curriculum and am a member of the Arthur Miller Foundation's Fellows Program. I hold certification as a licensed K-12 Theatre Educator in New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts.
